I kid you not the first book I grabbed nearby (didn't leaver her seat) was the mario paint players guide.

Bartman on the move. Nobody seems to be home at the Simpson residence. Nobody that is, except Bart. "Cool, man. I guess I'll just have to go out to the garage and test out Homer's new power tools." says Springfield's version of the boy-wonder. What kind of trouble will he get himself into next?

Bart Moves

I'll tag people some other time.

Subject:unfinished Naruto fic possible spoilers
Security:Public

Okay so I have a liking for gaara/naru, so sue me. About a year ago I was having trouble finding good fics for this couple, and so I started a few different fics to get them together, none of which ever made print. A couple of them aren't so bad, they just got left on the wayside because I'm capricious. It seemed a shame, even unfinished, to just leave it on my hard drive so I'm posting it here to air out some of the dust. Anyway I don't own Naruto.

warning: If you don't know Gaara was kidnapped by Akatsuki you most likely will be spoiled... just a little bit.

Epiphanies are strange things. Sometimes good, more often bad, but in themselves they bring about life shattering changes. Changes that, perhaps, might not be visible, none the less they exist.

Naruto had gone through many in his lifetime. Rarely good, but this one didn't quite fit into either category. Not only was the only person he had considered a friend dead in a spiritual sense, but the only one who had ever seemed a kindred to him could quite literally have been dead.

Gaaras existence was important to the shinobi for many reasons known and unknown to him. First and foremost it was proof. Gaara was proof of how truly strong Naruto was. The greater population of Konoha may have seen the blonde as nothing more than a nuisance. There had been many occasions when they had tried to rid the world of their "pest". The little reminder that the demon child had taken away their Hokage, their Yondaime. He struggled on, always smiling that damned able smile of his, swearing they would acknowledge him one day. Where Gaara had fallen to the darkness that was Shukaku, Naruto had thrived in spite of his demon. The goofy ramen loving boy had persevered through odds so unsurmountable any other human might have lost their mind. A child made to be a man from such a tender age.

The loveless redhead was everything Naruto could have been. Had he given into despair it was quite possible the whole of Konoha would be nothing by now, and, for the most part, their fate would not have been undeserved. Naruto knew the same loneliness, the same isolation, the same hatred Gaara did. Losing the Kazekage would be like having a part of his own soul ripped out. Upon hearing the news of what Akatsuki planned to do to his brother in arms he had lost it. Very rarely had his brilliant blue eyes shown such anger, such unsullied hatred. There was only one thing that could make him feel so strongly for any reason other than sadness. Someone he loved was being hurt. Someone so dear to him it hurt to even conceive of anyone doing anything against them.

Of course he should have been use to it. Things always happened to their kind. Horrible, saddening things that left scars nothing could heal. It taught them to be strong, but at what cost? Why Gaara? Why not him? Naruto now had friends where Gaara didn't. Naruto had people to trust his life with. Gaara couldn't even trust his own family.

Okay so I haven't posted ANYTHING in here in forever. To be honest not much has changed in my life aside from the fact I will be married next saturday. I'm still planning on attending college this fall... hopefully that'll be the last semester. *sigh* Anyway, I figured I've been going through my random bits of writing that I genuinely like but will most likely never use and thought rather than just let them collect dust on the hard drive from time to time I'd post some of them to keep this journal from going six feet under. At the very least I hope it spurs me to do some writing.

bye,

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 4-7 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions.
5.Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest (unless it's too troublesome to reach and is really heavy. Then go back to step 1).
6. Tag five people.

Physical representation. Identify all forces acting on the object and show them on a free-body diagram.

Pictorial representation. The free-body diagram is usually sufficient as a picture for equilibrium problems, but you still must translate words to symbols and identify what the problem is trying to find.

It's OK to go back and forth between these two steps as you visualize the situation.

Yeah, my closest book is my physics book... XD I suppose if you use your imagination you could come up with a way that could be funny.

anyway tags to those that want it.

I dunno it probably isn't genius but I'm fecking BORED!!! all but one of my tutees called off today so I got a LOT of time to murder slowly and torturously. I only wish I wasn't at school so I had acess to video games and... *coughproncough* XD I'm an addict what ya gonna do?

Anyway, school ends in a few weeks cuz for some reason, damn them to hell, my college decided it was a good idea to switch from quarters, which would have me happily vegging on the couch right now, to SEMESTERS! Yay, aren't all the moronic kiddies happy they have to come back after thanksgiving now? jack asses.

o.o red carpet...we have it, in our spare room. It is glorious and shiney and looks just yummy with my purple walls. *does happy I have two purple rooms dance* we finished demolishing the wallpaper in the "clouds and chubby cherub" room. I swear I think those pudgy winged bastards were mocking me. I got them in the end though. OH, and the crack head room, cause that seems to be who built it, is actually starting to look like an actual room, with drywall and everything! The ceiling in the master bedroom seems to have a problem with being smooth though... hopefully Brandon decides to stop ignoring it soon. Mostly all we have left to do is save large lump of cash, purchase, and install items. We had hoped the fridge of nastiness would work out but, it STILL smells. WHO FORGETS AN UNPLUGGED FRIDGE FULL OF FOOD?! Yuck.

My Georgia childrens are coming to visit on the last day of this semester. Jolly good that, my sister in law can push me into making some wedding plans. OH, we're hoping to have the wedding at the VFW here, cross your fingers peeps. I don't see that they'll object but can't be too carefull. I still have no idea on the color and the list is being ironed out. I think it's to 74 or 75 not sure which.-_-; my family alone is like 40 something... good thing he doesn't have a whole mess of people to invite. We're trying to keep the max 70, unless we can get some free help feeding them, aheh heh.

That's a lot of rambling, oh well. Happy X-mas to all and to all a good...something. 0.0

Yes, yet another year at college for the Melly and I'm already behind in the first week. -_-; apparently I was suppose to have some of the stuff I'm suppose to come up with in two days done a few months ago. Fret not though for I had unbeknownst to myself already started on it... it was suppose to be a summer project, but ah well. And good news I'm probably not going to have to take calculus 2. Apparently they've made a class specifially for my major in calc based physics. WOOT!

Bad thing is... I'm going to have to model myself. That is a very icky prospect. I meant to lose weight over the summer and seem to have gained instead. Damn my lack of motivation. Why does food have to taste so good? XD jk!

My current load (hopefully by 2something) will be 3D organic studio 2, Senior Studio, acting, ethics, and calculus based physics. Hopefully the professor will sign me into his class. Anyway I'm rambling a lot so bye my pretties.

So I've made it through both weddings this summer, one of which I caught the bouquet. My georgia family have returned to their home and are most likely in school now. I've been working with my fiance on our house and we've set our wedding date for july 26th 2008. We want a small simple wedding but seeing as how my list alone is nearly 100 people that will be difficult. -_-; Anyway, I still haven't figured out who I'd want to ask to be my maid of honor well, I know I just don't think having her would be feasable. Anyway I'm gonna skeedaddle.

hellz yeah. I already took my life drawing final yesterday and none too soon. -_-; that teacher is such a quiet nazi that his class makes me nervous (quiet gives me the willies). In about an hour I'm taking my 19th century art history final so all I'll have to worry about for the next week are inorganic studio 2 (read make pretty 3D level in unreal 2004) and linear algebra, otherwise known as the current bane of my existence.

The saturday following my last finals (which are on a wednesday) is the first wedding of this summer, and my family from Georgia are coming in on the 20th. What's really cool is they're staying until my cousins wedding which I think is on July 21st so we get them for a month.

This Saturday will be spent tearing down wallpaper and hopefully introducing my fiance to my classmates. Maybe he'll stop complaining that he never gets to meet my friends if he gets thrust into a whole hoard of them at once. XD

Soon I will be the proud owner of a copy of maya 7 and dad has started buying parts for a computer he's going to build me. He just needs to know what all improvements need to be made on our current computer to run the stuff I need. I was going to use leftover loan money to get a mac but I think I'll just save it for next years books.

Sitting alone after a productive all nighter, listening to "Knocking on Heavens Door" she contemplated what would be best to do to kill the remaining hour before she was picked up at 7:45. It would seem irrational to do anything that required more thought than staring at a screen and laughing at the pictures, but she was more aware than she'd been in a very long time.

Determined to do something productive, that wouldn't earn an F in any of her already failing classes, the twenty-two year old decided. It had been a rather long time since she had written anything worth any note and she simply refused to let that remain the case.

What one might be intrigued to know is that she lived life through words. Not necessarily spoken word, for it was rare for her to speak up in conversation. No, her mind was constantly shooting out descriptions of daily life. From the time she arose in the morning until her mind gave way to sleep stories floated through her head simply describing the mundane in life.

One might think living the everyday constantly even to the point of repeating in her mind would be yawn enducingly boring. That is where one would be wrong.

While a normal person would get up and go to work, or school, she would arise from her chariot of slumber to the harsh mistress of the morn and the terrible taste of toothpaste attacking bacterial invaders. It made the usual, unusual.

By no stretch of the imagination did it make the more annoying necessities in life any more fun to do. They were still horrible in every aspect, if perhaps more colorfully so. The horrible was simply another experience to add to the continuous lines of description...

and a half hour to kill evaluating levels of boredom would suffice for a while.

Dealing with Gaydar
A short story for NeptuneChan
by:FrogSlay

They sat on the front stoop, just leaning on each other.  It wasn't a new occurrence.  It hadn't been a new occurrence in quite a long time, but still, as sure as he would lean in to kiss the man he loved one of the old codgers across the street would complain.  Things like that didn't really matter much to him, but Terry was overly sensitive to everyones opinions.  Except his own, of course.

That was one of the things that frustrated Scott to no end.  All he ever wanted to do was hug, fondle, grope, hell he'd just settle for TOUCHING his boyfriend, but Terry would give him this withering look every time he tried.  Apparently the man thought that everyones gaydar was on full alert at all times.  It made some sense to confine it to non-public places, but it started getting ridiculous when they couldn't even kiss on their own front porch.

"Terry?"  Scott brushed a stray hair away from his lovers face.

"Yeah?" The light always managed to hit his profile in just the right way.

"We need to talk."

His inquisitive expression spoke volumes to how oblivious he was.  Terry was and most likely would always be a nice guy.  Anything that anyone could possibly conceive of asking him for, he was willing to do.  Thankfully, he did have his priorities straight.

"I know you don't mean too, believe me, but it hurts when you refuse my touch."  A suspicious scowl grew on Terry's face. " I don't mean anything pervy.  What I mean is this."  Scott reached out to cup the other mans face with no surprise when the other flinched and searched for non-existent people.  "That is exactly what I'm talking about.  I don't grope you in public but why can't I touch you?  I love you and I want to always show you that, and it hurts me that you refuse me so blatantly."

For a few seconds, that seemed like forever, Terry simply stared at his shoes Scott's hand still cupping his cheek.  Familiar night noises rang through the air somehow managing to intensifying the unease.

Nodding his head in confirmation Terry reached up to pull Scott into a gentle yet passionate kiss.  All the feelings he normally kept bottled up flowed through his lips into his love and all was understood.  When they parted, both were smiling.  They entered the house holding hands, neither caring who had seen.

*** The next day***

They had developed a set of morning rituals in the year they had lived together, and every morning Terry would get the mail.  Among the pile of junk and bills this morning was the usual slip from their neighbor Mr. Baker.

It read,

" Dear sirs,
I realize that you feel the need to parade your 'lifestyle' to the world, but the rest of the neighborhood would appreciate it if you would show some discretion in where you choose to flaunt your affections.
                                Sincerely,
                                    Mr. Evan Baker"

Without a second thought Terry turn the letter over and began writing.

"Dear Mr. Baker,
I most certainly will not refrain from expressing my feelings to my partner on OUR property.  If you have a problem with that then I sincerely suggest you suck it up.
                                Affectionately,
                                    Mr. Terry Williams"

Smiling he placed the letter in Mr. Baker's screen door and walked back to his house.
